Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior equalized with a penalty in the 23rd minute. However, Milan reclaimed the lead when Alvaro Morata scored in the 39th minute, and Tijjani Reijnders secured the win with a third goal in the 73rd minute. This victory marked Milan’s first win over Real Madrid in 15 years, with goalkeeper Mike Maignan named man of the match for his nine crucial saves.
In the other notable match, Sporting Lisbon outperformed Manchester City. Phil Foden initially put City ahead, but Gyokeres responded with a hat-trick, including two penalty goals, leading Sporting to victory. Maximiliano Araujo also contributed a
