Air France Extends Beirut Flight Suspension and Halts Services to Riyadh and Dubai

Sanaa: Air France announced it is extending the suspension of its flights to and from Beirut, Lebanon, until August 2 and is temporarily halting services to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai due to the security situation in the Near and Middle East.

According to Anadolu Agency, the airline stated that the resumption of operations will depend on an assessment of the security situation, which is rapidly evolving due to ongoing hostilities between the US and Iran, affecting other countries in the region as well. Flights to and from Riyadh will remain suspended until July 24, with departures from Riyadh halted until July 25, while services to and from Dubai will be suspended until July 27, with departures from Dubai stopped until July 28.

Air France is proactively informing affected passengers individually and has introduced commercial measures allowing customers to cancel or postpone their trips without additional charges, even if their flights have not been canceled. The airline emphasized that the safety of its customers and crews is its utmost priority and that it continues to monitor the geopolitical situation and airspace restrictions across the region to ensure flight safety and security.
