Sanaa: Russian authorities claimed on Sunday that a Ukrainian strike on a passenger bus in the Belgorod region killed five people, including a child, and injured 23 others.

According to Anadolu Agency, Belgorod acting Gov. Aleksandr Shuvaev stated on Telegram that the attack occurred in the city of Shebekino. He accused Ukraine of executing what he described as an "inhumane and cowardly attack." Shuvaev reported that preliminary findings indicated five civilians, including a minor, were killed. Among the deceased were four women and a boy, prompting Shuvaev to extend his condolences to the victims' families.

Shuvaev further noted that three of the 23 injured individuals remain in critical condition. He assured that all those wounded are currently receiving medical treatment. To date, Ukraine has not commented on the Russian claims, and independent verification of the incident remains challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
