Gaza strip: At least 28 civilians were killed and dozens injured in Thursday pre-dawn Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army targeted a group of civilians waiting near a medical care site for food supplement delivery in Deir al-Balah, resulting in the deaths of 13 individuals, most of whom were women and children. Several others were seriously injured in the attack.

In a separate incident, four members of the same family lost their lives when an Israeli strike targeted their home in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Additionally, two Palestinians were killed and 10 others injured in Israeli drone strikes in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

The southern Gaza Strip also witnessed tragedy as the Israeli army killed five people, including two children, and injured 20 others in strikes on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. A mother and her three children were killed in another strike on their home in Khan Younis, with more than 20 people sustaining injuries in the same attack.

The Israeli army's actions in Gaza since October 2023 have resulted in nearly 57,700 Palestinian deaths, predominantly affecting women and children. The ongoing bombardment has caused extensive devastation, leading to food shortages and the spread of disease within the enclave.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the region.
