Barcelona: Spanish LaLiga team Barcelona signed Spanish goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol on Friday. Barcelona announced that they penned the contract with the 24-year-old until 2031.

According to Anadolu Agency, while Barcelona said they paid the player's release clause, it was reported that the transfer was completed for a fee of £25 million ($28.7 million). Garcia, expressing his enthusiasm, said, "I'm very happy, culers. I'm really looking forward to sharing great moments with you." He also achieved a gold medal with Spain in men's football at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
