Brussels: The Belgian federal government, during its final meeting before the summer recess, approved a significant measure to impose an import ban on goods originating from the occupied Palestinian territories. According to Anadolu Agency, the import ban was part of an agreement reached by the government at the end of last summer. This agreement came as a response to Israel's military offensive in Gaza, which has led to a significant civilian death toll. Israel has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
