Cargo Plane Crashes Into Lithuanian Home, Killing One and Injuring Two.

Vilnius: A cargo plane tragically crashed into a residential home in Lithuania early this morning, resulting in the death of one crew member and injuries to two others. The incident occurred at 5.31 am (GMT0731), sparking a significant fire that was swiftly extinguished by emergency responders. Fortunately, the building's residents and the pilot of the plane were unharmed in the crash. According to Anadolu Agency, Saulius Raševskis from the Lithuanian rescue service provided preliminary details, stating, "Two have been taken to hospital, and one has been declared dead. These are the people who were on the plane." Authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of this unfortunate accident. This crash is the latest in a series of operational challenges faced by DHL this year. In July, explosive devices were discovered at DHL logistics hubs in Germany and the UK, prompting international investigations. The devices were suspected to be part of a covert Russian operation aimed at disrupting c argo and passenger flights to the US and Canada, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
