Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 9,618.42 points, marking an increase of 0.72% or 68.53 points from the previous close. According to Anadolu Agency, on Friday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index saw a significant gain of 1.94%, reaching 9,549.89 points. The daily transaction volume for that day was recorded at 119.7 billion liras, equivalent to approximately $3.47 billion. As of 09.52 a.m. (0652GMT), the exchange rates were noted with the USD/TRY at 34.5801, EUR/TRY at 36.2814, and GBP/TRY at 43.5703. The commodities market reflected the price of one ounce of gold at $2,692.70, while Brent crude oil was priced at around $74.17 per barrel.
