Beijing: Relations between Beijing and Washington are at an important juncture, Chinese Premier Li Qiang told US Senator Steve Daines and some American businesspeople in Beijing amid the ongoing tariff wars between the countries.
According to Anadolu Agency, Li emphasized the mutual benefits of cooperation and the losses incurred from conflict, advocating for dialogue over confrontation. He expressed hope for a shift from zero-sum games to win-win cooperation, urging both nations to work towards the "healthy, stable, and sustainable development" of US-China relations.
Li reassured the attendees of China's welcoming stance toward global companies, including those from the US. He emphasized China's commitment to addressing legitimate business demands, ensuring equal treatment for domestic and foreign companies, and fostering a conducive business environment.
