The Cyprus National Team of Men U16 in Basketball celebrates winning the Gold at the European U16 Basketball Championship of the 3rd Division and achieving a promotion to the 2nd Division. According to the Cyprus Basketball Federation, the team of Louis Siakallis achieved a great victory at the Championship Final against Azerbaijan.

The Cyprus National team beat Azerbaijan on Thursday with 78-75 in a highly competitive final of the tournament that took place in Kosovo.

The team won five out of the six games played in the tournament.

Almost unerringly, the children of the National U16 team achieved a historic success, a feat that demonstrates the magnitude of the work that is taking place at development level in Cyprus.
