Explosions Rock Tehran and Karaj Amid US-Israeli Strikes

Tehran: Explosions were reported overnight in Iran's capital Tehran as well as the nearby city of Karaj, Iranian media reported early Monday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Tasnim News Agency stated that airstrikes also targeted Isfahan, Yazd, and Khuzestan. The attacks are part of a joint US-Israeli military campaign launched on Saturday that has already resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Tehran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Gulf countries. The escalation has led to casualties, including three US service members killed and five seriously wounded, according to initial reports.
