Gaza: At least 57,338 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Saturday. The ministry's statement highlighted that 70 bodies were brought to hospitals within the past 24 hours, with 332 people injured, increasing the total number of injuries to 135,957 due to the Israeli attacks.
According to Anadolu Agency, the statement further elaborated that numerous victims remain trapped under debris and on roadsides, as rescuers face challenges reaching them. The conflict reignited on March 18, resulting in the deaths of 6,780 individuals and injuries to 23,916, disrupting a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice regarding its actions in the enclave.
