Abha:The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for a ballistic missile attack on Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
According to Anadolu Agency, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the missile directly hit the airport and disrupted air traffic. He also issued a warning to international airlines, advising against operating flights through Saudi airspace, which he described as a zone of Houthi military operations.
In addition to the airport attack, Saree reported that Houthi forces launched several ballistic missiles targeting Saudi military concentrations at Al-Daghareer camp in Jazan, also in southwestern Saudi Arabia. He claimed these strikes resulted in dozens of casualties among Saudi forces.
There has been no immediate response from Saudi authorities regarding the claims made by the Houthi group.
