Manama: The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had successfully targeted US military installations across Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait. The operation involved multiple UAVs and ballistic missiles aimed at disrupting US military operations in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, the IRGC stated that the offensive included 26 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and five ballistic missiles launched against both fixed and mobile US military targets. Specific sites targeted included Kuwait's Arifjan US Base, which reportedly sustained hits from a dozen UAVs.

In the United Arab Emirates, the offensive focused on the US military command and control center at Al-Minhad Air Base, struck by six UAVs and five ballistic missiles. Meanwhile, US Navy facilities in Bahrain, previously untouched, were reportedly destroyed by six UAVs, according to the IRGC.

Satellite imagery analyzed by The New York Times confirmed the destruction at the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, indicating significant damage to many buildings as a result of the strikes.

The Middle East is currently witnessing heightened military activity due to coordinated US-Israeli strikes on Iran, resulting in the deaths of key Iranian figures, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has launched missile and drone attacks across various regional targets, including US military assets and energy facilities in at least eight countries, such as the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.
