Tehran: The spokesman for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated on Tuesday that "the outcome of the war cannot be determined by tweets." This statement was directed towards the United States President, Donald Trump, as tensions in the region continue to rise.
According to Anadolu Agency, Ebrahim Zolfaghari delivered his remarks in a video message released by Al Jazeera. He emphasized that the result of the war is "determined in the field" and criticized the US military campaign name "Epic Fury," suggesting it should be called "Epic Fear" instead.
The conflict has intensified since Israel and the US commenced joint attacks on Iran on February 28, resulting in approximately 1,300 casualties, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes aimed at Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets. These retaliatory strikes have led to further casualties, infrastructural damage, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.
