Iran: Iranian army officials have issued a warning of 'stronger, wider, and more destructive' attacks against the United States and Israel, dismissing American claims that Iran's military capacity has been significantly reduced.
According to Anadolu Agency, the threat from Iran's military emerged shortly after US President Donald Trump stated in a White House address that Iran's missile launch capabilities had been severely diminished. Trump expressed confidence that the ongoing conflict might last another two to three weeks but suggested it was nearing its conclusion.
Reacting to these statements, a spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, via the Fars news agency, countered that US and Israeli evaluations of Iran's military prowess are inaccurate. The spokesperson emphasized that the adversaries' understanding of Iran's strategic capabilities is incomplete and misguided.
The spokesperson refuted claims regarding the destruction of Iran's missile production facilities and advanced systems, asserting, "Do not think that you have destroyed our strategic missile production centers, our long-range offensive drones, modern air defense and electronic warfare systems, or our special equipment -- because such assumptions will only make matters worse."
Highlighting Iran's ongoing military production in undisclosed and secure locations, the spokesperson added, "The centers you imagine are of little importance, and our strategic military production is taking place in places you do not know and will never be able to reach."
Furthermore, the spokesperson warned that future Iranian military actions would be more formidable, stating, "After the powerful and unbelievable blows you have received so far, expect from us actions that are stronger, wider, (and) more destructive." He also declared that the conflict would persist until Iran's adversaries "wither, are humiliated, regret completely, and surrender."
The situation in the region has intensified since a US-Israeli joint offensive against Iran commenced on February 28, leading to over 1,340 deaths, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile attacks on Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, resulting in human casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.
