Qom: Four explosions have been reported in rural areas of the Iranian city of Qom from US-Israeli attacks, an Iranian official said early Monday. Qom Deputy Governor Morteza Heidari stated that two separate areas on the outskirts of the city were targeted.

According to Anadolu Agency, the explosions were reported by Fars News Agency, but the official did not provide any information regarding casualties or material damage. The situation remains tense as regional escalations have continued since Israel and the US launched a significant offensive against Iran on February 28.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of more than 1,340 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting locations in Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have caused casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
