Gaza City: The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced Tuesday evening that it had seized an Israeli surveillance drone hovering over the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. According to Anadolu Agency, the group stated in a post on Telegram that it had "taken control of a Zionist reconnaissance drone of the type Matrice 350 RTK while it was carrying out multiple intelligence missions in the skies over Khan Younis." The group did not provide further details about the incident, and the Israeli military has not commented on it. Since October 2023, Israel has killed more than 51,200 Palestinians in the enclave, with most casualties being women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and c rimes against humanity in Gaza.
