Tel Aviv: The Israeli army announced on Sunday evening that it had detected missile launches from Iran targeting Israeli territory. In a statement, the army confirmed that air defense systems are actively working to intercept the incoming missiles. Residents have been urged to "enter protected areas immediately upon receiving an alert and remain there until further notice."

According to Anadolu Agency, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Iranian attack affected northern and central Israel, including Tel Aviv. Initial reports from the newspaper indicated a direct hit on a house in southern Israel.

The escalation follows Israeli strikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, on Friday. Tehran launched retaliatory strikes within hours, and the attacks have continued since then.

The Iranian Health Ministry reported that 128 people have been killed and 900 others injured since the Israeli attacks began on Friday. Israeli authorities, meanwhile, reported that 13 people have been killed and more than 370 others injured in the Iranian missile attacks.
