Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday stated that Israel has continued to escalate its attacks on Gaza and the West Bank, despite a ceasefire agreed upon on October 10, 2025.
According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan made these remarks during an iftar dinner in Ankara, highlighting that the ceasefire was secured with the efforts of Trkiye. He expressed concern that the Israeli government continues to intensify its military actions in the region, undermining the ceasefire agreement.
Furthermore, President Erdogan noted that the residents of Gaza, who are observing Ramadan in makeshift shelters amid widespread destruction, serve as an example of resilience and faith for Muslims around the world. He emphasized their determination not to succumb to oppression, despite the challenging conditions they face.
