Mansouri: The Israeli army has issued an evacuation warning for the residents of Mansouri, a village in southern Lebanon, as it plans to conduct military operations in the area. This marks the first such warning in almost six weeks.

According to Anadolu Agency, the warning was communicated through a post on the US social media platform X by Lt. Col. Ella Waweya, the Israeli military's Arabic-language spokesperson. She urged residents to "leave your homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters north of the village to open areas." The warning comes amid claims of Hezbollah violating a ceasefire agreement, although specific details of these violations were not disclosed.

Lt. Col. Waweya emphasized that the Israeli army intends to "act forcefully against Hezbollah" in the area but stressed that there is no intention to harm civilians. However, the warning highlighted that those near Hezbollah members, facilities, or military equipment could be at risk.

This evacuation notice is the first for the residents of southern Lebanon since June 14, underscoring the rising tensions in the region.
