Ankara: The Israeli army announced the initiation of a new wave of attacks on Tehran, Iran’s capital, in collaboration with the United States. The military action was confirmed in a statement indicating that sites associated with the Iranian administration throughout the city were targeted.

According to Anadolu Agency, the statement did not disclose specific details about the locations hit during the strikes. As of now, there has been no acknowledgment or confirmation from Iranian officials regarding any recent attacks on their capital.

This development is part of an ongoing air offensive by the US and Israel against Iran, which has lasted nearly a month and resulted in the deaths of over 1,340 people, including the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as neighboring regions such as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military bases. These retaliatory measures have caused casualties, extensive infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
