Beirut: Seven individuals were killed and 29 others sustained injuries as a result of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting 36 cities, towns, and areas predominantly in southern Lebanon. This was reported by the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Ministry identified the deceased as including a paramedic and five Syrian farmers. The Israeli military focused its airstrikes on cities such as Nabatieh and Bint Jbeil, and towns including Sarafand, Kfar Tebnit, and others in the region. Additional towns affected by these strikes were Arnoun, Ali al-Taher, Adloun, and several others, indicating a broad scope of the offensive.

The Israeli army also engaged in artillery shelling of towns like Bustan, Haniyeh, and other areas, as confirmed by the Health Ministry. An airstrike was additionally reported in Labaya, located in eastern Lebanon.

The Health Ministry condemned these actions, labeling them as part of an ongoing series of violations of international humanitarian law by Israel. Since Hezbollah’s cross-border attack on March 2, Israel has launched airstrikes and a ground offensive, resulting in significant casualties.

Lebanese authorities have reported that the Israeli attacks have led to the deaths of 1,142 individuals and injuries to 3,315 more. This escalation is set against the backdrop of a joint US-Israeli offensive against Iran, which has resulted in over 1,340 fatalities since late February, with Iran responding via drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and US bases in the Gulf.
