Gaza: An Israeli airstrike has resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians, with several more injured, in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza. The attack targeted a rest area near tents that were housing displaced civilians. According to Anadolu Agency, the airstrike has heightened tensions in the region, following reports of similar incidents. Eyewitnesses and medical sources reported that the attack struck a building housing several displaced people in the Akkar region. Several individuals were trapped under the rubble, with ambulances arriving at the site. Lebanon's official news agency, NNA, confirmed the initial toll, stating that the 28 people affected included Syrian nationals, displaced Lebanese, and residents of the village. Meanwhile, other developments in the region include statements from Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who emphasized the importance of actions by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in halting Israel's aggression against Palestine and Lebanon. Addition ally, Israel's new defense minister has indicated the possibility of a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, while also suggesting that a cease-fire agreement in Lebanon is currently not viable.
