Tehran: An Israeli airstrike targeted Iran's Parchin military complex, Iranian media reported early Monday. The complex is situated approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Tehran, the capital of Iran. This incident marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

According to Anadolu Agency, the attack is part of a US-backed Israeli military campaign against Iran that began on June 13. This campaign has triggered retaliatory measures from Tehran, leading to further tensions in the region. Iranian missile attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 25 people and injuries to hundreds more in Israel, as reported by Israeli authorities.

Meanwhile, Iran has reported substantial casualties from the Israeli assault. The Iranian Health Ministry disclosed that at least 430 people have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded as a result of the strikes. Additionally, earlier reports indicated that air defense systems in Tehran, Shiraz, and Karaj were activated in response to the escalating situation.
