Israeli Airstrikes Destroy Homes in Gaza

Gaza City:Gaza Four Palestinian homes were destroyed in Israeli airstrikes in northern and central Gaza late Saturday, with dozens of nearby buildings also sustaining damage.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli warplanes targeted three homes in Gaza City and another in Deir al-Balah after issuing evacuation warnings to residents. These strikes were reported to have hit areas in Gaza City's Shujaiya, Al-17, and Rimal neighborhoods, along with a home belonging to the Al-Buhaysi family in Deir al-Balah.

Witnesses reported that evacuation orders were delivered via phone, causing panic and forcing dozens of families to flee their homes. A separate airstrike targeted empty agricultural land near Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah. No casualties were reported from these airstrikes, according to preliminary information.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli drone strikes in Gaza City killed five Palestinians and injured several others, according to medical sources. Since October 2023, the ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of more than 74,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 175,000, based on Palestinian figures. The war has also led to the destruction of 90% of the enclave's infrastructure.

Additionally, violations of a ceasefire deal by Israel have reportedly caused more than 1,470 Palestinian deaths and wounded over 5,180 individuals, as stated by Gaza's Health Ministry.
