Gaza City: At least 26 more Palestinians were reported killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza over the past 24 hours, escalating the death toll from Israel's offensive since October 2023 to 51,266, according to the Health Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, a statement from the ministry revealed that 60 more injured individuals were transferred to hospitals, increasing the total number of injuries to 116,991 since the beginning of the Israeli attacks. The statement also noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, as rescuers face challenges reaching them.

The Israeli army renewed its offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in nearly 1,900 deaths and 4,950 injuries despite a previously established ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is confronting a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
