Kfarkela: The Israeli army burnt down several homes and properties in the town of Kfarkela in southern Lebanon, marking a significant breach of a ceasefire agreement, local media reported on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the state news agency NNA did not provide any information regarding injuries resulting from the Israeli military actions. This incident follows a series of demolitions carried out by Israeli forces in the same town on Thursday.

A fragile ceasefire has been in effect since November 27, intended to halt the months of mutual shelling between Israel and Hezbollah, which had escalated into a full-scale conflict in September. Despite this agreement, Israel has reportedly committed over 840 violations, resulting in numerous casualties, including women and children, in Lebanon.

The ceasefire deal stipulated that Israel was to complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by January 26. However, the deadline was extended to February 18 after Israel's non-compliance with the original timeline.
