Beirut: The Israeli army on Saturday issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents of seven areas in southern Lebanon, instructing them to leave immediately in anticipation of forthcoming military strikes.
According to Anadolu Agency, army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that the evacuation warning is directed at the areas of Maachouk, Burj al-Shamali, Al Rashidiya, Deir Kifa, Qaquaiyat al Jisr, Wadi Jilo, and Al Bass. The spokesperson indicated that the Israeli army plans to target Hezbollah sites in these locations, attributing the operation to the activities of the group.
Residents in the affected areas have been advised to move northward toward the Zahrani River to ensure their safety. This precautionary measure underscores the tension in the region and the potential for escalation.
