Israeli Army Launches New Wave of Airstrikes in Iran

Tel aviv: The Israeli army announced on Monday the initiation of a wave of "extensive" airstrikes targeting multiple areas in Iran, including the capital, Tehran. The military statement specified that the strikes were conducted in Tehran, Isfahan, and southern regions of Iran, though details on the specific targets were not disclosed.

According to Anadolu Agency, this development follows a joint attack by Israel and the US on February 28, which resulted in over 1,200 fatalities, including the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and several neighboring countries, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations that host US military installations.
