Gaza City: The Israeli army ordered Palestinian civilians to evacuate several areas in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, as the military launched a surprise aerial bombing campaign on the enclave. Army spokesman Avichay Adraee stated that residents of the towns of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza and Khuza'a and Abasan in the south were instructed to leave, labeling these areas as 'dangerous combat zones.' He urged civilians to seek refuge in known shelters in western Gaza City and Khan Younis, using his X account to communicate the message.

According to Anadolu Agency, Palestinian authorities in Gaza reported that at least 322 people were killed or missing, and hundreds were injured in the Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday morning, despite a ceasefire agreement in effect since January 19. Since the escalation of hostilities in October 2023, more than 48,500 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have been killed, with over 112,000 others injured in the conflict.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November last year for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its military actions in the enclave.
