Tel Aviv: Israeli police are actively pursuing individuals capturing footage of locations hit by Iranian missiles, as declared by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on Monday. The minister emphasized the security threat posed by such broadcasts, which reveal precise missile landing sites within Israel, indicating that those involved would be treated as threats to national security.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ben-Gvir has directed the Shin Bet domestic security agency and the police to intensify measures against foreign media outlets and civilians allegedly celebrating the Iranian missile attacks. The minister also expressed a 'zero tolerance' stance towards any expressions of joy over the strikes.

The minister noted that numerous arrests have already been made, although he did not provide specific numbers. Additionally, he mentioned that prison guards have been instructed to take action against inmates who express satisfaction over the Iranian strikes.

The situation has intensified regionally since Friday, following Israel's coordinated airstrikes on various sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. In response, Tehran launched retaliatory missile strikes. Israeli authorities reported that at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds injured due to these Iranian missile attacks since the escalation began.
