Istanbul: Trkiye's premier technology, aviation, and space event, TEKNOFEST, will be organized in Istanbul from September 17 to 21. The event promises to attract numerous visitors with its array of competitions, air shows, and innovative tech showcases.

According to Anadolu Agency, the event will be held at the Ataturk Airport, as announced in a social media post by Trkiye's Industry and Technology Ministry on Monday. TEKNOFEST has become a major attraction, drawing millions of visitors since its inception in 2018.

The event follows a unique pattern, being held in various Turkish cities in even years and in Istanbul in odd years. Last year, the event was hosted in Adana, welcoming around 1.1 million visitors. In 2023, TEKNOFEST was held three times in honor of Trkiye's centennial, occurring in Istanbul, the capital Ankara, and the Aegean city of Izmir.

This year, the event was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from May 1-4, attracting 225,000 attendees. The TRNC became the second international host after Azerbaijan, which welcomed TEKNOFEST in 2022. Since its inception, the major tech event has seen nearly 10.7 million visitors.

Since 2018, Anadolu has been TEKNOFEST's global communications partner, emphasizing the festival's role in fostering innovation and technical growth in Trkiye.
