Rome:Italy's Foreign Ministry reported that its website was targeted in a cyberattack on Thursday. However, security systems were able to mitigate the effects, preventing any disruptions.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Ministry stated that since the morning, the website had been under attack, but thanks to the effectiveness of the security systems, no disruptions were caused.

The Ministry is continuously monitoring the situation in collaboration with the National Strategic Center and coordinating with relevant authorities. Additionally, they are analyzing the websites of Italian diplomatic and consular offices abroad to assess whether they have been subjected to similar attacks.
