ANKARA: Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho mounted a bizarre laptop protest during a Sunday Turkish Super Lig match after one of his team's goals was disallowed for being offside. Title contenders Fenerbahce won 2-0 at Antalyaspor as Serbian winger Dusan Tadic scored for the visitors, and Brazilian defender Thalisson put the ball into his own net in the second half. Mourinho, 61, who was hired by Fenerbahce in June after leaving Roma, put his laptop in front of a TV camera to protest the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) ruling disallowing a goal by Fenerbahce's Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko for being offside. The Portuguese head coach left his bench to signal to spectators that the VAR's decision was incorrect. "I like good VAR. For me it doesn't matter if it is Turkish or if it is from another nationality. I just want a VAR that helps the referee to take the right decisions. "For us it is a good goal. So I didn't say a single word. I didn't make any kind of pressure. I just put the laptop in there," Mourinho told a post-match press conference. Fenerbahce, who were the last season's runners-up in the Turkish league, have 16 points in seven matches, just three points behind leaders and defending champions Galatasaray.
