Moscow: A new round of talks on Ukraine is set to take place soon, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced, without disclosing details about the format or the participants involved.

According to Anadolu Agency, Peskov, speaking to reporters in Moscow, confirmed that preparations for the discussions are underway. However, he did not provide any specifics regarding the agenda or timeline, stating only that "this will happen soon."

The announcement comes amidst ongoing diplomatic efforts related to the Ukraine conflict, with Moscow emphasizing that negotiations remain a viable option despite the continued hostilities. Russian officials have expressed their willingness to engage in dialogue, provided that any talks address what they refer to as "new realities on the ground."

The statement from Peskov follows recent negotiations held on February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi, involving Russia, Ukraine, and the United States. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicated that Kyiv's delegation would provide him with updates on the "most sensitive" aspects of these discussions, noting that such matters could not be addressed remotely.
