Kuwait city: Kuwait's National Guard reported that its forces successfully intercepted and shot down one drone and four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in areas under their protection. Brig. Gen. Jad'an Fadel Jad'an, spokesperson for the National Guard, stated that a task force was responsible for carrying out these interceptions at sites they are tasked with securing. There were no reports of casualties or losses as a result of these actions.

According to Anadolu Agency, this incident occurs amidst ongoing regional tensions following the offensive launched by Israel and the US against Iran on February 28. This offensive has resulted in the deaths of more than 1,340 individuals, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has conducted drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets. These retaliatory actions have led to casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.
