Malaysia to Deport Israeli Nationals Amid Allegations of Involvement in Johor Community

Sanaa: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that any Israeli national found in the country would be deported immediately. This statement comes as authorities investigate claims of an Israeli's involvement in the operations of a private residential community in Johor.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized that relevant agencies are conducting investigations into the allegations. He stressed that the Malaysian government would not compromise if the allegations are confirmed. "If we find any Israeli, we will deport them immediately because we do not recognize Israel," Anwar stated.

Israelis are generally prohibited from entering Malaysia without special approval due to the country's non-recognition of Israel. The Home Ministry initiated an investigation following a request from the Johor state government for a federal probe into allegations concerning Network School, a startup community in Johor.

Additionally, the Immigration Department reported that during inspections at an international community in Forest City, all 266 foreigners checked were found to possess valid immigration documents.
