Ankara:Mauritius recently refused landing clearance for a scheduled flight from Israel, resulting in its cancellation. The flight, operated by Air Seychelles, was set to depart Israel for Mauritius but was called off due to the lack of permission from Mauritian authorities.

According to Anadolu Agency, Spirit World Productions, the Israeli tour operator organizing the trip, stated that the flight had initially received approvals months in advance. However, they were informed that the denial was based on 'political and diplomatic considerations.'

Mauritian authorities have yet to provide a comment on the situation. Sources familiar with the matter mentioned to Israel's Channel 12 that the refusal might be connected to the absence of a Mauritian delegation during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent address at the UN General Assembly.

Spirit World Productions is currently collaborating with Air Seychelles and relevant authorities to make arrangements for the passengers affected by the cancellation.
