Moldova: Moldova on Saturday strongly condemned a drone incident near the village of Colonita, Chisinau municipality, saying components resembling those of a drone equipped with a turbojet propulsion system were found after an explosion.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Foreign Ministry stated on Telegram, "Any unauthorized entry into the airspace of the Republic of Moldova is unacceptable and constitutes a serious violation of our country's sovereignty." The ministry described the incident as another serious consequence of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, which it claims continues to threaten the security of Moldova and its citizens.

"The effects of Russian attacks on Ukraine do not stop at its borders," the ministry asserted. Moldova also condemned Russia's war against Ukraine and reiterated its call for Moscow to halt actions that it said endanger lives and the security of countries in the region.

Suspected drone fragments were found in a field near Colonita after residents reported a loud bang on Friday morning, as reported by the state news agency Moldpres. Technical explosives experts secured the site to examine the debris as authorities investigate the circumstances of the incident.
