Moldova: Moldova's Border Police reported on Saturday that several unidentified aircraft were detected flying through the country's airspace early in the morning.

According to Anadolu Agency, the aircraft were observed following specific trajectories near the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. Two aircraft were reported to have flown along the Olanesti-Cistovodnoe path, while another was seen over the southeastern village of Caplani, moving from Crocmaz and exiting Moldovan airspace toward Ukraine.

The Border Police, in collaboration with Ukrainian authorities, conducted joint searches but did not find any fragments or signs of an explosion on Moldovan territory. However, Ukrainian officials later identified an explosion site and unidentified fragments approximately 1.2 kilometers from the state border on Ukrainian soil, as reported by the Border Police.

Earlier, on Friday morning, suspected drone fragments were discovered in a field near the village of Colonita in Chisinau municipality after residents heard a loud noise. The Foreign Ministry of Moldova condemned the incident, emphasizing that unauthorized airspace entry is a serious violation of national sovereignty.

The ministry further highlighted that the incident reflects the ongoing impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which poses a continuous threat to Moldova's security. "The effects of Russian attacks on Ukraine do not stop at its borders," the ministry stated.
