NATO Chief to Meet Trump in Washington

Washington: NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte will visit the US on July 14 and 15 to meet with US President Donald Trump. Rutte's visit to Washington aims to strengthen ties and discuss key issues between the NATO alliance and the United States.

According to Anadolu Agency, Rutte will also hold meetings with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth during his visit. These discussions are anticipated to cover important topics related to defense and international cooperation.

In addition to his meetings with Trump and key cabinet members, Rutte is expected to engage with Members of Congress, further emphasizing the significance of NATO's relations with the US legislative branch. The visit underscores the ongoing collaboration and dialogue between NATO and the United States.
