Ankara: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing serious allegations as Trkiye has held him accountable for his name being associated with genocide, following charges brought against him. The Turkish Foreign Ministry, in a statement released on Wednesday, directly addressed a controversial social media post by the Israeli foreign minister, labeling it as filled with "baseless slanders and vile lies" against Trkiye and its president.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Foreign Ministry asserted that the responsibility for Netanyahu's association with historical figures accused of genocide lies with him, as he continues to face trial on genocide charges. The statement expressed Ankara's hope for a "fair trial" for Netanyahu and those accused alongside him.

The ministry further emphasized that the Israeli government's focus on the remarks made by the Turkish president serves to validate the statements' accuracy. It underscored that the crimes against humanity committed by Israeli leaders are being meticulously documented, leaving no doubt about their authenticity.

The statement concluded with a warning that once the international support and immunity currently shielding Israel dissipate, Netanyahu and his collaborators will be brought to justice.
