Gaza: More than 714,000 people have been displaced inside the Gaza Strip since Israel resumed its assault on March 18, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said.
According to Anadolu Agency, the situation has become increasingly dire, with people confined to shrinking spaces. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that 85 percent of the Gaza Strip is now either within the Israeli-militarized zone, under displacement orders, or where these zones overlap. The breakdown of the ceasefire has led to massive displacements.
The UN agency highlighted a deepening fuel crisis in Gaza, posing a threat to humanitarian operations. Essential services, including health, water and sanitation, telecommunications, and protection services, are at risk of shutting down due to the lack of fuel. No fuel has been allowed into Gaza since March 2, 2025.
Furthermore, UNRWA noted that medical teams are facing severe shortages, with over half of the medical supplies already depleted. The agency has been unable to bring in humanitarian aid, including medicines and medical supplies, for over four months.
In the northern West Bank, UNRWA reported a new demolition order by Israeli forces targeting 104 buildings in the Tulkarem refugee camp on June 30. This marks the fourth mass demolition order in the northern West Bank camps since the Israeli operation began on January 21. Approximately 400 buildings have been affected by these orders.
OCHA figures indicate that 957 Palestinians, including at least 203 children, were killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, between October 7, 2023, and July 1, 2025. Of these, 151 Palestinians, including at least 30 children, have been killed since the start of 2025.
Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has continued its offensive on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 57,200 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, since October 2023. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
