Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: The Pakistani and Turkish forces have successfully concluded a two-week joint counter-terrorism exercise in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as announced by the Pakistani military.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which is the Pakistan Army's media wing, reported that the closing ceremony of the Pak-Trkiye Joint Exercise Ataturk-XIII in the Counter Terrorism domain took place in the Cherat area of Nowshera district, near Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The event was graced by the presence of Brig. Gen. Ahmet ASIK from the Turkish military. Combat teams from the Special Services Group of the Pakistan Army and the Special Forces of Trkiye participated in the exercise, which began on February 10, as stated by the ISPR.
The exercise aimed to refine professional skills through joint training and to strengthen the historic military-to-military relations between the two countries.
