Gaza City:A Palestinian woman was killed and her husband and two children were injured when Israeli artillery shelling struck their tent northwest of Gaza City, according to medical sources.
According to Anadolu Agency, the attack occurred on the third anniversary of the start of Israel's genocide on Gaza and amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement that began on October 10, 2025. Medical teams at Al-Shifa Hospital received the body of Ahlam Mubarak, 30, along with her injured family members after the shelling near the Olympic Stadium in the Amer Project area. The husband's condition is reported as serious.
Witnesses reported that Israeli naval vessels fired and launched shells into the sea off the coast of Gaza City. In the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army conducted two demolition operations targeting residential structures northeast of Khan Younis, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles toward nearby homes.
According to Gaza's Health Ministry, Israeli ceasefire violations have resulted in the deaths of 1,467 Palestinians and injuries to 5,161 others as of Wednesday. Since the onset of Israel's genocide in Gaza in October 2023, over 74,200 Palestinians have been killed and more than 175,200 injured, with around 90% of the enclave's infrastructure damaged or destroyed, Palestinian authorities report.
