Ankara: Emphasizing strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Trkiye on Thursday stated that the preservation of peace and stability in the country is possible "with common sense and restraint."
According to Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed its concern over the recent developments following the court verdict against Milorad Dodik, the president of the Republika Srpska, one of the two entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The statement highlighted that these developments were being closely monitored.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry reiterated its unwavering support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that maintaining peace and stability is achievable through common sense and restraint. The statement underscored the importance of avoiding unilateral actions and rhetoric that could destabilize the country, advocating for dialogue and consensus as means to resolve issues.
The statement also affirmed Trkiye's commitment to continue providing support for the peace and welfare of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, drawing on its history of assistance.
