Polish Prime Minister Tusk Set to Visit Trkiye for High-Level Talks


Ankara: Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will visit Trkiye on Wednesday for high-level talks, according to Turkish officials.



According to Anadolu Agency, Trkiye’s Communications Director Fahrettin Altun announced on X that Tusk will make a working visit to the capital Ankara at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During this visit, Tusk will meet Erdogan at the presidential complex to discuss steps to strengthen bilateral relations.



The discussions will also cover Trkiye-EU relations as part of Poland’s presidency of the EU Council, as well as current regional and global issues, including Ukraine and transatlantic relations. Altun emphasized the importance of these discussions in fostering stronger ties between the two nations.



In his statement, Altun expressed optimism, saying, “We believe that Trkiye-Poland relations, which marked their 600th anniversary in recent years, will continue to grow and strengthen with Prime Minister Tusk’s visit.”
