Pope Francis on Tuesday made a surprise foray outside the Vatican to the basilica of St. Augustine, in St. Augustine's Square, in the centre of Rome. The visit by the pope, who entered through a side door, was a private one. The Argentine pontiff's foray took place on the feast of Saint Monica, St Augustine's mother. Source: Ansa News Agency
