Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on Tuesday announced he was hanging up his gloves at 34, two weeks after Juventus rescinded his contract after seven years in Turin. He said he had "given all I had" to the game. "My body still feels ready for challenges, my heart no longer. I gave everything I had, therefore I have decided to retire from playing football', said the Poland great, who joined Juve from Roma in 2017 and kept goal 200 times for the Turin giants. Szczesny racked up 84 Poland caps since 2009. Source: Ansa News Agency
